Kasa-obake
There are stories about these umbrella-like Yokai that sometimes they appear on rainy nights and if you see one, your feet will be fixed to the ground but other times if you accidently mistake one for an umbrella, they can lift you into the sky.

Noppera Bo
This Yokai can take the form of any creature but most times it likes to take the form of a human. It really enjoys scaring people but it’s mostly harmless.
Futakuchi-onna
Sometimes when a women doesn’t eat much she can be cursed with a second mouth. This second mouth often is insistent, through insults and swearing, that the women feed it. The second mouth will often cause the inflected women pain and will eat twice the normal amount of food.
Dodomeki
A Dodomeki is a cursed women thief. Their long arms are covered in eyes and in some stories they can extrude poisonous gas from their mouths and flames from their bodies.
Shinigami
The death bringer! This Yokai chooses the time of your death. The king of the underworld is also a type of Shinigami. The Shinigami is similar to Morrígan of the Faye and the Grim Reaper in Western cultures.
Rokurokubi
Many stories surround this Yokai. A Rokurokubi appears as a normal looking women but when she falls asleep her neck stretches and her head goes around eating bugs and rodents, scaring people and evening biting people to death. When Yokai awakes, she has no memory of what her head did during the night.
Jorogumo
Be careful of women you meet near waterfalls. This Yokai is part women, part spider. She can shapeshift into beautiful women. In some stories she lives near a waterfall. She uses her webs to drag men into falls where she devours them.
