Akkorokamui is a Kami. It came from the Ainu Folklore known as Atkorkamuy. This yokai is a giant octopus-like water deity with a deep red skin color reflecting the color of the sky during sunsets. Akkorokamui is so massive it can swallow a ship or even a whole big whale. Skulks in the Funka bay in Hokkaido, Japan.

It was believed that Akkorokamui has healing powers and can regenerate amputated limbs. According to legends, when you offer something to this god, they can heal body ailments particularly amputated limbs and such.
