If you run into a Kuchisake Onna and she asks you if you think she’s beautiful answer “Yes”, and then when she splits her mouth open down the sides and says, do you still think I’m beautiful, answer “Yes” again. If you answer “No” to either question, you’ll forfeit your life.

Kuchisake Onna is a cruel, malevolent female wraith. She sometimes she will cover her face with a mask and she almost always carries a razor-sharp object. In some of the stories, it’s said that she was punished by her husband for adultery. He cut her mouth open from ear to ear. In other stories she was disfigured by a women who was jealous of her beauty.
