This Yokai has the body of a snake and the head of a women. There are three different stories about this creature. One story suggests she simply wants to be be left alone and can be seen sometimes looking reflective while washing her hair. In another story she eats humans whole and in yet another story, she carries with her a bundle (sometimes referred to as baby) and if you ask to hold the bundle or you are ask to hold the bundle, the bundle will attach itself to you so you can’t remove it, turn into a rock to weigh you down and then transform into a Nure Onna and eat you.
